Michael Grosso, PhD

Michael Grosso, Ph.D. is an independent scholar and part of an ever growing group of scholars and thinkers critical of the prevailing materialistic view of the world. He has a PhD in philosophy from Columbia University and has taught humanities and philosophy at Marymount Manhattan College, City University of New York, and City University of New Jersey. Julie Beischel, PhD

Julie Beischel, PhD, Co-Founder and Director of Research at the Windbridge Institute, received her doctorate in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Arizona in 2003. She is a member of the Society for Scientific Exploration and the Society for Psychical Research and serves on the scientific advisory boards of the Rhine Research Center and Forever Family Foundation. Following the suicide of her mother and an evidential mediumship reading, Dr. Beischel forfeited a potentially lucrative career in the pharmaceutical industry to pursue rigorous scientific research with mediums full-time. Her research interests include examinations of the accuracy and specificity of the information mediums report as well as their experiences, psychology, and physiology and the potential social applications of mediumship readings. Dr. Beischel is Adjunct Faculty in the School of Psychology and Interdisciplinary Inquiry at Saybrook University and Director of the Survival and Life After Death research department at the World Institute for Scientific Exploration. She is the author of Among Mediums: A Scientist's Quest for Answers, From the Mouths of Mediums Vol. 1: Experiencing Communication (From the Mouths of Mediums: Conversations with Windbridge Certified Research Mediums), Meaningful Messages: Making the Most of Your Mediumship Reading, and Investigating Mediums: A Windbridge Institute Collection.

Mark Boccuzzi

Mark Boccuzzi, Co-Founder, Researcher, and Director of Operations at the Windbridge Institute, has spent more than a decade investigating spontaneous cases of apparitions and related haunting phenomena in the San Francisco Bay Area and southern Arizona. In 2005, he successfully completed the Summer Study Program in Parapsychology presented by the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and the Rhine Research Center. He is an associate member of the Parapsychological Association. Mark’s research interests include intuition, animal psi, applied psychokinesis, photographic anomalies, distant mental interactions on living systems, and instrumental transcommunication (ITC). He is a two-time recipient of grants from the Helene Reeder Memorial Fund for Research into Life after Death and a recipient of a grant from the Parapsychological Association’s Gilbert Roller Fund. Mark’s research has been presented at the annual meetings of the Society for Scientific Exploration and the Parapsychological Association and the Toward a Science of Consciousness and the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM) conferences and published in the Journal of Scientific Exploration. Diane Hennacy Powell, MD

Diane Powell, M.D. is an author, public speaker, researcher and practicing psychiatrist. She has spoken in venues that vary from international scientific conferences to news and talk shows, including Dr. Phil. Her education has been both broad and deep. She feels honored to have trained and worked with some of the best minds of the century, including several Nobel laureates. She received her medical training at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and was taught by giants in their fields. As she delved deeply into science, it became increasingly apparent that our model for the brain and human consciousness was seriously flawed and incomplete. She chose to continue her research in the private sector and served as the Director of Research for the John E. Mack Institute (JEMI) after John, a former colleague at Harvard, passed in 2004. Her research interests included the neuroscience of extraordinary states of human consciousness and anomalous experiences. This is discussed in detail in her 2008 book The ESP Enigma: The Scientific Case for Psychic Phenomena. She continues to do cutting edge research involving telepathy, autism, and consciousness.
